Lin Tao,Conductor
Lin Tao was born in Beijing(China).Since early years he studied piano and composition.After graduating of the Central Musical School in Beijing was awarded a scholarship by Chinese government and continued his study at the Moscow State Conservatory,which he graduate both as a composer(Prof.A.Leman)and conductor(Prof.D.Kitaenko).
Lin Tao is a winner of several International competitions for conductors for conductors including:Prokofiev International Competition,St.Petersburg,Russia；Fiterburg International Competition,Poland；and Malko International Competition,Denmark.After a successful appearance at Prokofiev Competition young conductor was invited by a world renowned conductor V.Gergiev to work as an assistant conductor at the Mariinsky Theater and as an assistant conductor of A.Dimetriev for Saint Petersburg Philharmonic.
Lin Tao has worked with the St.Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra,Mariinsky Theater,Russian State Academic Symphonic Orchestra,Novosibirsk Philharmonic,Chinese National Symphony Orchestra,Prague Symphony Orchestra,Moscow State Orchestra,Taipei Symphony Orchestra,Chamber Orchestra 《Musica Viva》and others.
Lin Tao was named by Yuri Temirkanov as“one of the most talented conductors of young generation”.He currently serves as an Aritic Director and a Chief Conductor of the Kyzbass Symphony Orchestra(Kemerovo),Saratov Academic Symphony Orchestra and a Chief Guest Conductor of the Xia Men Philarmonic Orchestra(China).
